The Children’s Ministry of Covenant Grace Church
At Covenant Grace we have a heart for ministering to the whole church, and that includes your children! We are committed to providing a spiritually rich and loving discipleship ministry dedicated to nurturing the faith of the littlest members of our flock. Below you will find an explanation of our goals for this key ministry of our church, followed by some essential details to help you and your children participate.
Our Goals:
In humble reliance upon God we endeavor:
#1 | To provide our children with a Christ-centered understanding of the whole Christian faith that is rooted in the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
#2 | To raise our covenant children ‘in the faith’ by actively including them in the whole life of the church’s worship, discipleship, fellowship, and service.
#3 | To lovingly support and partner with parents in the faithful rearing of their children in order that we may nurture healthy, lifelong members of Christ’s Church.
Our Children’s Ministries:
LORD’S DAY MORNING
Ages: 1 through 5 years
Our Focus: Bible Content
On Sunday mornings we will be focusing on Bible Content (i.e. the overall story of the Bible). This will include a broad sweep of the whole of Scripture over the course of the curriculum, all centered on the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
When: Sunday mornings during the sermon portion of the worship service. The children are dismissed by our Pastor with a special prayer for them each week.

LORD’S DAY AFTERNOON

Covenant Kids
Ages: Kindergarten & Under
Our Focus: Learning God’s Word
On Sunday afternoons we will be using the My ABC Bible Verses curriculum, the lessons put the memory verses in the context of the gospel story. Every lesson points to Jesus and the transforming power of the gospel.
When: Sunday evenings from 4:30-6:00PM while parents and youth also meet for Lord’s Day Discipleship.
Covenant Elementary
Ages: 1st through 5th grade
Our Focus: Bible Doctrine
On Sunday afternoons we will be focusing on Bible Doctrine (i.e. the core truths of our faith). Using the exceptional Children's Catechism, we will begin helping our children form a meaningful understanding of the foundational truths of our faith.

A Safe Place To Grow:
All children’s ministry volunteers are well known to the Elders of our church and distinguished for their Christian character, kindness, and love. Additionally, everyone who volunteers with children or youth in our church has completed a background check and received training prior to service.
